{"id":5540,"date":"2021-11-10T15:49:15","date_gmt":"2021-11-10T13:49:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.invaldainvl.com\/?page_id=5540"},"modified":"2025-09-15T14:07:53","modified_gmt":"2025-09-15T11:07:53","slug":"formulas-of-performance-indicators","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.invaldainvl.com\/en\/investor-relations\/financial-information-and-documents\/formulas-of-performance-indicators\/","title":{"rendered":"Formulas of performance indicators"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<section  class=\"invl-block invl-block-1-columns invl-columns\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"column column-1-of-1 c-blue padding-top-05 padding-bottom-05\" >\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>FORMULAS OF PERFORMANCE INDICATORS<\/h4>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section  class=\"invl-block invl-block-1-columns invl-columns\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"column column-1-of-1 c-white\" >\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Following the guidelines Alternative Performance Indicators which were prepared in 2015 by the European Securities and Markets Authority, and which came into force 3 July 2016, the company presents the definitions of the used indicators and the calculation methodology.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section  class=\"invl-block invl-block-2-columns invl-columns\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"column column-1-of-2 c-white\" >\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>AuM <\/strong>refers to the assets we manage or have under supervision and generally equals to the sum of the following: fair value of managed or supervised assets and uncalled capital commitments. Fair value of managed or supervised assets is generally based on one of the following:<br \/>\n&#8211; the capitalization of listed entities;<br \/>\n&#8211; the net asset value of unlisted funds;<br \/>\n&#8211; the fair value of financial instruments of discretionary managed portfolios;<br \/>\n&#8211; the fair value or value set out in contracts of assets supervised by the family office.<\/p>\n<p>The net asset value of feeder funds that invest in our managed funds is not included into AuM. The carry units of funds are included in AuM calculation. The reported amount is the aggregated, not consolidated, sum of the assets; therefore, assets which represent investments to our managed assets are included in the assets supervised by family office.<\/p>\n<p>This AuM represents the size of assets to which the Group has an economic influence through management or supervision. We believe that such AuM stands as a better measure of our investment and fundraising performance.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"column column-1-of-2 c-white\" >\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Fee-earning AuM<\/strong>\u00a0refers to the assets we manage or have under supervision and from which we derive recurring fees. Our Fee-earning AUM is generally based on one of the following, once fees have been activated:<br \/>\n&#8211; the amount of subscribed capital commitments of funds;<br \/>\n&#8211; invested capital of funds at cost;<br \/>\n&#8211; the net asset value of funds;<br \/>\n&#8211; net asset value before management fees of funds;<br \/>\n&#8211; the capitalization of listed entities;<br \/>\n&#8211; the fair value of financial instruments of discretionary managed portfolios;<br \/>\n&#8211; the fair value or value set out in contracts of assets supervised by family office.<\/p>\n<p>If management fee is not applied to some classes of funds units, corresponding value of funds units is not included into Fee-earning AuM. The corresponding value of feeder funds that invest in our managed funds is not included into Fee-earning AuM (unless the value exceeds the corresponding fund value, in such case the excess is included).<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section  class=\"invl-block invl-block-1-columns invl-columns\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"column column-1-of-1 c-gray-light padding-top-05 padding-bottom-05\" >\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Our calculations of AuM and Fee-earning AuM may differ from the calculations of other asset managers. As a result, these measures may not be comparable to similar measures presented by other asset managers. The terms used in the definition are not consistent with the terms how they are defined in the Regulatory framework. The definition \u2018managed assets\u2019 includes assets of managed funds as it is defined by the Regulatory framework as well as assets managed under a portfolio management delegation agreement and assets managed under property administration agreement. The term \u201cfunds\u201d include not only funds without legal status, but also entities with legal status, including listed entities managed by the Invalda INVL group companies.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section  class=\"invl-block invl-block-2-columns invl-columns\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"column column-1-of-2 c-white\" >\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Return on Equity (ROE) <\/strong>&#8211; the last 12 months\u2019 net profit and average equity ratio, expressed as a percentage. Ratio measures return attributable to shareholders and is useful when comparing the Group\u2019s profitability to competitors.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-22659\" src=\"https:\/\/www.invaldainvl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ROE.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"638\" height=\"98\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.invaldainvl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ROE.jpg 638w, https:\/\/www.invaldainvl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ROE-300x46.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 638px) 100vw, 638px\" \/><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"column column-1-of-2 c-white\" >\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Average Equity <\/strong>\u2013 an arithmetic average of the ending equity 12 months prior to the end of the reporting period and the equity at the end of reporting period.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-22657\" src=\"https:\/\/www.invaldainvl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Average-equity.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"611\" height=\"107\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.invaldainvl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Average-equity.jpg 611w, https:\/\/www.invaldainvl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Average-equity-300x53.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 611px) 100vw, 611px\" \/><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section  class=\"invl-block invl-block-1-columns invl-columns\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"column column-1-of-1 c-gray-light padding-top-05 padding-bottom-05\" >\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The calculation formulas for Return on Equity (ROE) and Average equity 30\/05\/2025 have been adjusted to incorporate data from the last 12 months, in order to ensure a more consistent assessment of profitability and a more accurate reflection of the period\u2019s results.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section  class=\"invl-block invl-block-1-columns invl-columns\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"column column-1-of-1 c-white\" >\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Compounded annual growth rate (CAGR)<\/strong>&#8211; The average annual growth rate of a company or investment over a certain period. The indicator shows the steady rate at which the investment would have grown each year if the growth rate had been consistent.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.invaldainvl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/CAGR.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Book Value per share<\/strong> &#8211; The amount of the group&#8217;s equity divided by the number of shares at the end of the reporting period, excluding the group\u2019s own shares. This indicator shows what proportion of the company&#8217;s activities is financed by borrowed funds and what proportion by shareholders&#8217; equity. This indicator shows how much of the company&#8217;s profit is attributable to one ordinary share.
