In the new plant of Sanitas AB 191 workplaces were preserved, out of them 131 women workplaces, 85 workplaces of high qualification specialists. It is anticipated to produce completely new form of injection preparations – disposable syringes filled with medications. <\/p>\n
Capacities of the plant:
\u2022 15 million of syringes per year with the possibility of expansion up to 35 million per year;
\u2022 50 million ampoules per year;
\u2022 15 million of vials of eye drops and\/or nose drops per year;
\u2022 300 million of tablets per year;
\u2022 50 million of capsules per year. The new plant has the possibility to manufacture small batches of medications. <\/p>\n
Total increase of production capacities, compared to the old Sanitas AB factory – 3 times. During the project duration, the contract manufacture package for 3 different medication forms was prepared:
\u2022 disposable syringes filled with medications;
\u2022 ampoules;
\u2022 solid forms of medication.<\/p>\n
Negotiations with 2 potential costumers for contractual manufacture services were initiated. During the project duration, production of 19 medications was terminated, and prepared for the production of 11 new medications. 3 dossiers of medications, being released from patented protection, were acquired and registered. <\/p>\n
The total amount for the construction of the new plant were 68 mLTL; the support from EU funds were 16,06* mLTL. <\/p>\n
