On the 21st<\/sup>of May 2012 Inreal Pastatu Prieziura<\/em> (Inreal Building Maintenance) <\/em>installed electricity, gas, water, and heat meter readingsystem MeterApp<\/em>in one of its maintained buildings \u2013 business centre at Palangos Str. 4. <\/em>This system, controlled by mobile internet, will ensure accurate and fast data collection and processing.<\/p>\n

\u201eThe practice of the majority of companies, providing building maintenance and administration services, in taking meter readings is complicated: one employee writes readings on the paper, the other enters them into the program. Naturally, human failures are inevitable\u201c, – said Rolandas Rutenas, the Director of Inreal Pastatu Prie\u017eiura<\/em>. According to him, when MeterApp<\/em>system is installed, it is enough to put the phone to a special electronic sticker, where identification information of the meter is stored by NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, in this way data entry field of required meter is identified and meter readings are entered into the phone, from which they will be transferred to the reporting program. \u201eOf course, it is not a remote reading system, but the intermediate version, which will not only expedite the process, but will also ensure avoidance of mistakes, what is important to us and our customers\u201c, – said R. Rutenas. <\/p>\n

MeterApp<\/em> solution belongs to the company Mokus<\/em>. \u201eThe system has been adjusted in order to meet the needs of Inreal Pastatu Prieziura <\/strong><\/em>and its customers\u201c, – said Zydrunas Andruska, the Director of Mokus<\/em>. According to him, one of the advantages of MeterApp<\/em> is that the system has integrated mechanism to avoid \u201ehuman failures\u201c\u2013 MeterApp<\/em> analyses input data and, if the later significantly differs from the prior ones, it asks about error possible. <\/p>\n

When MeterApp<\/em> was tested in the business centre at Palangos Street 4, the system is planned to be installed in all buildings administered by Inreal Pastatu Prieziura<\/em>. The customers of the company will not have to pay for this investment.<\/p>\n
