May 16, 2013. Vilnius. The amount of new-construction apartments sold in Vilnius in April is 195, and that means 89 percent more than in April of 2012. Within the first four months 644 apartments were sold in total \u2013 i.e. 69 percent more than within the corresponding period in 2012.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe amount of unsold apartments in Vilnius is below 2500, and it means that the amount is less by 350 apartments than in early 2013<\/em>\u201d, – Arnoldas Antanavi\u010dius, the Manager of Consultations and Analysis Department of Inreal. According to him, the supply may shrink soon. In April the liquidity of new construction apartment market reached the record level of 7.2 percent since the emergence of the crisis. It means that the market is able to absorb the current supply approximately within 13 months. <\/p>\n In April of 2013 the number of transactions made in Kaunas and Klaip\u0117da as regards new construction apartments have also increased: 16 apartments were sold in Kaunas, and 17 – in Klaip\u0117da. That respectively means 7 percent and 42 percent more than in April of 2012. <\/p>\n
