{"id":17698,"date":"2023-02-10T12:44:32","date_gmt":"2023-02-10T10:44:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.invaldainvl.com\/?p=17698"},"modified":"2023-02-10T12:44:34","modified_gmt":"2023-02-10T10:44:34","slug":"invl-group-completes-the-acquisition-of-the-mundus-private-debt-fund-management-company","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.invaldainvl.com\/en\/group-company-press-releases\/invl-group-completes-the-acquisition-of-the-mundus-private-debt-fund-management-company\/","title":{"rendered":"INVL group completes the acquisition of the Mundus private debt fund management company"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<section  class=\"invl-block invl-block-1-columns invl-columns\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"column column-1-of-1 c-white padding-top-00 padding-left-40 padding-right-30\" >\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>INVL Asset Management, part of the leading Baltic investment management and life insurance group INVL, completed a transaction to acquire the remaining shares of Mundus, an asset management company which manages a private debt fund.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cConsolidating the shares in the hands of one owner will help use the accumulated experience to strengthen our position on the alternative investment market and create more value for clients and investors,\u201d says Vytautas Plunksnis, the Head of Private Equity at the INVL group.<\/p>\n<p>By buying 49% of shares from Mundus partners Audrius Moz\u016bras and Martynas Grikinis, a fund manager who will remain with the company, INVL Asset Management became the sole shareholder of Mundus, which manages the Mundus Bridge Finance private debt fund.<\/p>\n<p>As an open-ended fund for informed investors, Mundus Bridge Finance pursues a stable long-term return by investing in privately placed debt securities of companies in the fast-growing alternative finance sector and by providing bridge financing for projects of various types. Since its launch in 2015, the private debt fund has conducted 18 deals.<\/p>\n<p>As of the end of January 2023, Mundus Bridge Finance had assets under management of EUR 26.6 million.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About INVL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>INVL is the leading investment management and life insurance group in the Baltic region.
